To collect all the five spiritual stones that had been transformed from the ancient savage beasts in order to dominate the three realms, Yun Juyan, a traitor to the Emei Sect, resurrects the elders of the Emei and Kunlun Sects to kill every member of Emei. The three realms are caught in a huge crisis again after a temporary peace from the war between immortals and demons that had just come to an end. To end Yun Juyan's plans, Xiao He and Yuan Youqing, as well as other disciples of Emei, embark on the difficult journey of looking for the spiritual stones in the hope of collecting them before Yun. With the help of Xiaoyaozi, another elder of the Kunlun Sect, who had retired for many years, Xiao He and Yuan Youqing, together with others, fight and subdue monsters and evil dragons. They are even ready to die for their goal.
