A wealthy businessman, Changayya, and Ramayya are neighbors in a village and Changayya wants to marry off his son to Ramayya's daughter. But due to unprecedented circumstances, the Two families are estranged and get into frequent quarrels.

Satyam studies in city and is the son of a wealthy businessman, Changayya, who lives in a village. Changayya is affectionate towards his neighbor Ramayya's daughter, Subbulu, and wants to get her married to Satyam. A conflict arises in the village and Ramayya becomes witness against Changayya which creates differences among the Two families. They start quarreling frequently and their families become estranged. Their families reunite again when Ramayya and Subbulu protect Changayya from a thief. Satyam and Subbulu finally get married.
