As a comedic based mockumentary this is not your daddy's kind of reality show, "Shooters" is a bit like life itself, hard to define and usually off-course. Everyone wants something new and different but still comfortable enough to enjoy in the comfort of their own home as an armchair adventurer with a discriminating taste. "Shooters" fills the bill as a new kind of reality show, that mixes in just enough fantasy, fun and philosophy to take you on a hilarious adventure behind the scenes of filmmaking as it not only lifts the veil from the magic arts of movie making but the universal human conditioning to succeed as well.
The recipe: Take a little "MadMen", mix it up with buddies and the sexy ladies of "Entourage", throw in some of the off-beat humor of "The Office" along with the reality of "Pawn Wars" and you still don't quite get the whole picture. "Shooters" follows its own recipe, kind of making it up as they go along. Even the inscrutable owner of the studio, Gray Calderon, has to ask, "What is it? A reality show, a sitcom, a documentary, a movie? What?" To which the star of the show, Eddie Lain, responds blithely, "Yes!". So forget about a staid study of professionals perfecting their craft, this is a look at the people Hollywood has rejected or never even invited into their cloistered circles in the first place, real people going for their dream against all the odds. These are the stories of the little guy taking on the Hollywood behemoth to manifest their own dreams in the new digital world of "Indie" filmmaking... on a shoestring budget... by the unlikeliest of characters... giving hope, inspiration and a sense of identity to the every-man, everywhere.

Wanna-be starlets have been throwing themselves at producers for the chance to be cast in some film since the casting couch has been invented. This time honored tradition goes back a millennia or more as artists have been inspired by muses to cast their likeness upon a canvas or the screen. But today, the politically correct censors are trying to turn this kind of fun between the sexes into an exploitation issue. Yet appreciation of the female human form persists because it's buried deep into our very psyche, and 'to deny it would drive us crazy' said Freud. "Shooters" says, "Viva la difference - Let the mockumentary games begin!"
