"Shock" (also known as Shock Theater) was a hosted horror movie show, with Ray Spruell as "Dr. Shock", assisted by Stan Taylor as "Igor", presenting movies on Saturday night at 10:30pm, on WRBT Channel 33 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA from about 1972 until about 1979. Dr. Shock wore a white laboratory coat; and having wild grey hair and a mustache. The set had props including boiling chemicals, dry ice, and a Jacob's ladder,—The Professor
