"Shock Theatre" was a hosted horror movie show with J.G. "Pat" Patterson as "Mad Daddy" presenting movies on Monday nights 11:15pm on WBTV, Channel 3 Charlotte, North Carolina from the Fall of 1958 until the Summer of 1959. Patterson's make-up consisted of simple grease paint scars, a fright wig and a blood-stained lab coat. "Mad Daddy" showed all of the "Shock" titles were run. "House of Frankenstein" was the first one shown, and the final one was "Horror Island".—The Professor
