A cruel sea captain (Charles Middleton) oversees a rough crew.

Bart Wallace ('Lloyd Hughes') is shanghaied on board a sailing schooner with a crippled captain, Captain Lash (Charles Middleton), who sits in a wheel chair while dominating his crew. Passengers include GRace Walsh (Dorothy Sebastian) and her brother Norman (Lloyd Whitlock). The crew mutinies and ties the captain to a mast and leave him hanging there, alive and kicking.
