Takano Masaya lives apart from his father Minoru and younger sister Haruka. His mother died when he was young. He works as a physical therapist at a hospital. One day, his father Minoru enters the hospital. Watching his father getting weaker and his patient's condition worsening, Masaya feels a sense of helplessness. A new patient is admitted who suffered an injury during a rugby game. Masaya is impressed with his new patient as he lives his life hard. Masaya soon regains his enthusiasm for his work.
