Claire, a young artist from Liverpool arrives in Seville in 1968, after following her husband Manuel, she stubbles across a country living under a fascist dictatorship, an extreme catholic family and a society with two roles for women: mother and wife. In this oppressive environment Claire meets Ana, a lesbian airline stewardess for Iberia, where she will begin an intimate relationship and will be introduced to the artistic and bohemian underworld of Seville.
