Inspired from the popular Biblical fable The Prodigal Son, the 15-minute short film She and Sea portrays paternal love in a contemporary setting. A young woman Natasha, on the verge of ending her life by drowning herself in the sea, suddenly realises the selfless and platonic bond of love that she shares with her parents. She reflects her childhood days with her father where she was loved and cared for. Natasha realises that life does not end with one accident or mishap; there are always second chances to rectify the mistakes and excel as a human being. She discards the idea of suicide and returns to her father who welcomes her cordially.—Anonymous
