1926: Shanghai is regarded as the most opulent, exotic and decadent city in all of Asia. Two New Yorkers, journalist, Michelle Burnette and Gangster, Henry Montgomery arrive in Shanghai by chance and find it's a place where they both could prosper, in their own ways.
