Barat and Parviz try to keep Yaqoob, who won a lottery prize, alive until he receives it, planning to take a share. However, a doctor says Yaqoob will soon die, complicating their scheme to benefit from his winnings.
Barat is a middle-aged man who lives in a condo with his wife, son, aunt, and brother-in-law, and his neighbors Parviz, his mother, and his mute, old Kurdish sister named Yaqoob. They participated in a lottery and only Yaqoob won 30 billion Tomans. But the doctor said he would die soon and would not be able to receive the prize. So Barat and Parviz try to keep him alive until he receives the prize, so that they can pay it in installments of 70% and 30%, as Barat says.
