Jeanne grows up in a large commune in Austria where the offspring of the Nazi generation tries to create a new utopia only to reinvent totalitarian structures. Jeanne is a "soldier" of the commune, but everything changes when she falls in love with Jean and thus violates the first rule of the commune: love is forbidden. The commune becomes a cage, the utopia of a new society a reactionary system. Jeanne and the other children of the commune rebel and free themselves.
