A group of misfit friends get their hands on a poorly tested energy drink which gives them powers. But when the drink is pulled from the shelves only these unlikely heroes can stop the company's CEO from taking it out on the city.

They're not super, they're not amazing, and they're not spectacular; as a matter of fact they're only Semi-Heroes. When a poorly tested energy drink hits the market before it's supposed to be released, a group of friends deciding to add it to a drinking game gain somewhat extraordinary powers. Meanwhile, the CEO of the Energy Drink Company faces financial ruin when the drink is pulled from the shelf. Enraged, he goes on an energy drink binge transforming himself into the world's first mega villain and taking his anger out on the city.
