Summaries

Mike and Joel are long-time friends from Calgary. After university, with little more than $30,000 in savings and a desire to see the world, they buy a 33' sailboat in San Francisco and begin the adventure of a lifetime. Their 21 000 km journey aboard Selah II forces them to adapt to life on a small boat in a very big ocean. They learn to live in community, overcome a never-ending string of mechanical problems, and endure the pain of surrendered dreams. Over 14 months they experience some of the remotest locations on Earth, encounter beauty they never imagined, and build friendships to last a lifetime.—Anonymous
