Seizaemon Miya, a retired servant in Shohan, Tohoku, began to write daily events and feelings in a diary as a comfort. The story unfolds based on the diary "Zanjitsuroku". A dramatization of the novel written by Shuhei Fujisawa, with the main character Seizaemon played by Tatsuya Nakadai.
