Synopsis

With the new Intercept and Destroy Law, in which fighter planes can intercept clandestine aircraft over national territory, cartels all over Latin America have seen their business threatened. As this measure aims to fight drug trafficking, the cartels join forces to try to defeat Brazilian Government. This leads to a series of investigations, kidnapping and chases involving the cartels, the Brazilian Government and the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (ABIN). Despite the threats and pressure coming from theses countries, the President discards the option of revoking the law. Enraged, Hector Gasca (Joaquim Cosio), the head of the largest drug cartel, decides to place an entire nation at risk. Starring Thiago Lacerda and supported by stellar cast, 'National Security' based on a reality that cannot be exposed. It shows a nation in action against drug trafficking without using the artifice of violence, and boasts real Army and Air Force footage. It's a movie that will change the Brazilian people's way of thinking.
