Summaries

'Seethaler: the pick poet' follows Helmut Seethaler, underground slip-note-poet for more than 30 years at work as he sticks and writes his progressive poems on the walls and pavements of his hometown Vienna, Austria (and some other Cities in the German-speaking-world), discusses his thoughts with his readers, gets into troubles with authorities and fights for his art at court and on the street. Incidentally the film illustrates how important and beautiful obstinacy and Independence can be in an increasingly standardized society.—Anonymous
