Prerna, an aspiring actress who has aspirations of Bollywood goes to Mumbai to chase her dreams. In order to learn and earn, also to prove herself she does TV ads and works as a background dancer. Prerna meets a casting director Manav and their friendship develops. Manav always supports Prerna during her good and bad days. Against her mother's wishes who wants her to become a teacher, Prerna leaves her home to find success in the Bollywood world In order to learn and earn, also to prove herself she does tv ads and works as a background dancer. Prerna experiences difficulties during her early days; she works in several adv but couldn't even get desired remuneration because boldness is the basic demand whereas Prerna has no interest in shortcuts. Samriddhi aka Sam enters in Prerna's life as her roommate. Sam is an extraordinarily smart girl who has no boundaries to leave behind when it comes to money and manipulation. Even though Sam and Prerna are completely two different personalities, however, both develop friendship.
At completion of a photoshoot, Prerna meets a casting director Manav and their friendship develops. Being an experience holder from the same industry Manav always supports Prerna during her good and bad days. Meanwhile Sam weaves a web with her boyfriend Angad against Prerna for the sake of money. Prerna refuses to have a one-night stand with Angad as she is reluctant to give up her dignity for the sake of stardom. Prerna throws Sam out of her life. Broken and depressed start questioning her career and her life choices. She decides to commit suicide but Manav encourages and convinces her to leave the past and to give a second chance to her life. Will Prerna be able to overcome her grief and fear? Will she be able to trust Manav?
