Summaries

This documentary from 1983 provides a fascinating insight into the training of one of Britain's greatest-ever distance runners. There are highlights of the races that led to Seb being the only runner in history to hold all four middle-distance world records simultaneously. Also included are clips and afterthoughts from the 1980 Moscow Olympics 800m disappointment and 1500m glory. As well as training and race footage the piece also includes post-race interviews, plenty of comments from Seb himself, from Steve Ovett, from his mother, and from his coach and father Peter Coe.
