A group of scuba divers decide to search for a local historic shipwreck. Their research leads them to the HMS Sylph, a British warship that sank off the southern coast of Long Island, NY in a violent, northeasterly storm in January, 1815. Little did they know, they would first discover a rich history about the little known war of 1812 between the US and the British empire as well as the role the HMS Sylph played in local Long Island history.
