Synopsis

A gorgeous Italian temptress Sophia Rosselini (Kelly Brook) open's a School for Seduction in Newcastle, England. Sophia is herself trained in the seductive arts in a class that she took in Europe. Sophia graduates from her class and simply does not return home, as she leaves behind her abusive husband Giovanni (Jake Canuso). Sophia planned her entire escape down to the last detail.

Sophia stays in a hotel, where Clare is the manager and hires a large suite to run her classes. Clare is intrigued by the subject of Sophia's class "Seduction". Sophia says that a woman can be both feminine and be successful in her professional life. Sophia encourages Clare to attend her class, and says that even though Clare is a wife, but she has not stopped being a woman. Sophia says that Clare should not let the fire in her go out.Sophia tells Clare that she is not married. She mails her wedding ring by post, but it is stamped by the hotel before being sent out.

Among those who enroll are struggling single mother Kelly (Emily Woof) and her cocky sister, Donna (Jessica Johnson) who lived in a joint family with no personal space for themselves.Kelly and Donna saw Sophia's ad in the newspaper. The ad promises to teach "to excite the man in your life" and "how it could excite you". Kelly and Donna are friends with Irene and tell her about the class.

Married women also take the class, including fish-'N'-chips shop owner Irene (Margi Clarke), whose husband Derek's (Tim Healy) super-sized ego causes her stress, and workaholic hotel manager Clare (Dervla Kirwan), who is unhappily married to aloof Craig (Neil Stuke). Drag artist Toni (Ben Porter) also takes the class.

Clare does all the work in her marriage, and Craig is complete unappreciative of the effort she puts in. Craig does not listen to a word she says and is only interested in his car and other toys. When Clare wants to talk to Craig, he interrupts her and talks about his passion project instead.

Donna and Kelly both work at a supermarket chain as checkout girls. Kelly is being denied a promotion at work by her controlling and sadistic boss Brian (Nick Whitfield). Brian even takes credit for Kelly's good ideas in front of his boss, without sharing any with Kelly.Kelly applies for a management position that Brian is also vying for. Brian threatens Kelly that he will share all the times that Kelly has been late to work to cut her chances, if she does not withdraw her application.

Four friends-each hoping to release their inner sex goddess-sign up for an education in the 'seductive arts.' For Clare, Irene and sisters Kelly and Donna the 'School for Seduction' is a much-needed break from reality, promising much - how to be sexy, seductive and in control.

Sophia says that seduction is less about pleasing the men and more about pleasing oneself. She says that when women feel good about themselves, they automatically feel more confident and seductive.

Initially the course is simply great fun as the women work on their walk and posture. The next class is about touching everything in a slow, sensual and seductive manner. Use of facial expressions to flirt gently and everywhere. How to sit without ever looking at the chair and pushing one's bottom out. How to use only one's eyes to flirt. Undressing in the bedroom. The women are unleashed on their unsuspecting partners with comic, sometimes uncomfortable but often-hilarious results.Sophia even goes to Irene's Fish-N-Chips shop and demonstrates how she can seduce the entire customer audience with the way she fries fish and serves it to them.

Donna manages to seduce Gail (Jody Baldwin) Irene's son at the Fish-N-Chips shop, using the techniques taught by Sophia. Donna realizes that Gail only sees her as a cheap and easy checkout girl and walks away.

Clare gets a promotion at work, but this pushes Craig even further away and he rebuffs her when she tries to take control of their love life. One night Clare goes out with the girls to watch Toni's show and is late coming back home. Craig blames Clare for not spending enough time with him and blames her job for taking her away for him.Craig wants Clare to listen about his problem at work and not the other way around. Clare decides that she will not feel sorry for herself on account of Craig anymore.

Irene confronts Derek and demands a divorce. He confronts Irene and says that there is nothing of Derek in the house, as everything was selected by Irene, and even the photos on the wall are of her side of the family.

Giovanni receives the wedding ring and finds out where Sophia is staying. Giovanni arrives in Newcastle. Giovanni interrupts Sophia in the middle of her class and she is stunned. For the first time, Sophia is nervous and falters. Giovanni reveals that Sophia is his wife, and she is not Italian, but from England and in fact studied at the same school as Kelly. Kelly is livid as Sophia was a loser at school and she feels that she was betrayed.

Giovanni takes Sophia to her room and again starts to abuse and intimidate her.

Clare thinks about everything Craig says and decides to leave him. Irene reaches out to Derek by taking a picnic basket to his golf game. Derek says that he loves Irene.Gail comes to meet Donna at work and apologizes for his behavior. She dismisses Gail, but later follows him and reconciles.

Kelly decides that she does not need the management role as her teenage daughter Lucy needs her at home. But she reaches out to Brian at work and says that she wants to make up to him and invites him for a private meeting. Kelly seduces Brian at dinner using all the techniques taught by Sophia. She tricks him into the ladies' room with the lure of having sex, but there she traps Brian in a compromising pose with Toni and all the ladies takes a picture of him.

The ladies realize that Sophia changed their lives more than they imagined. They rush back to Sophia's hotel just as Giovanni was about to driver her away. Kelly tells Sophia that she was a brilliant teacher, and she changed all of their lives. Sophia decides to stay back with her friends. Sophia divorces Giovanni and throws him out of her life.

Kelly gets the management job. Irene has an active sex life. Clare destroys Craig's car and moves out.
