Tom, married, 35, lives in Los Angeles where he runs a successful software company. The reason for his trip to Switzerland is the death of his younger brother, Philipp, whom he has not seen for years. As he is the only parent, he must liquidate the estate. Without enthusiasm, Tom begins to tidy up Philipp's chaotic apartment. He falls in love with Christine, Philipp's former friend, and ignores the bizarre events that occur that apparently have to do with his brother's death.
