A detective checks into a hotel to investigate the disappearance of a young woman. Searching for clues, the detective visits racist, ultra-radical cults. From the Ku Klux Klan in Arkansas to Neturei Karta in New York, they meet the followers of the cults and learn their lore. The only haven of peace and beauty seems to be the empty hotel bar, with a local dancer. The detective digs deeper into the cults' visions of the apocalypse and everything begins to fall apart. On the roof of the hotel, they find the destiny of the disappeared woman, only to fulfill it once again. The detective, the hotel and everything else disappear, and the burning bush heralds a new beginning.—Czech Film Center
