A Korean youth wholeheartedly accepts the Japanese way of life and volunteers for service in the Japanese armed forces during WWII. He is sent to serve in Burma where he becomes acquainted with a Burmese girl. Her resistance of the Japanese invaders causes him to question the ways of his conquerors whom he has gladly been aiding.—Anonymous
