Zamindar Surya Kishor Chowdhury was a very kind-hearted man, loved playing chess and a fantastic singer. He loved his estate and their people. He took care of every problem of his people but at the same time, he was careless about his wife Indu's feelings. Dr. Bijoy Chakrabarty who was helped by the zamindar during his student days took shelter in the palace and then he killed the zamindar and forces Indu to keep quiet.
