Summaries

The impulse for developing the country creates a lot of conflict in Brazil. Extinguished ecosystems, depleted natural sources, relocated communities, vanishing ways of life, people who are murdered. Violence. Blood of the Earth goes to the most troubled areas where those conflicts still happen today. The episodes document the environmental conflicts and their consequences for human beings and nature, through the eyes of the people involved in such conflicts. The series depicts different realities and social actors involved in various areas of the country, in order to reflect about this new moment in the history of Brazil.—João Roni
