After initial disagreements, a classical dancer and a rural folk artist charm each other and fall in love. However, they face issues when the girl's father disapproves of their relationship.

This film depicts the disputes between two forms of the musical professions. One being purely Classical (Carnatic) and the other being rural folk (Tamil Nadu folk). The story takes on a new turn when a guy and a girl from the opposing camps fall in love with each other showing the egos, hatred and ignorance faced by both groups towards each other.—Anonymous
