Two strangers, identical twins separated at birth, accidentally reunite and swap lives amidst an arranged marriage plot leading to romantic entanglements and self-discovery.

A story about two lookalikes, Ramona--Mona for short--and Lisa. Lisa is a rich, strict, hardworking woman while Mona survives as a bet collector in cockfights. While Lisa is stylish and cultured, Mona is tomboyish and rustic with a kind, loving heart for her parents and friends. The two cross paths when Lisa's father Juancho arranges a marriage for her with a rich business man, Martin Co, but Lisa is against it and goes into hiding under one of her workers, Leo Tabayoyong. Later, the two make a deal and Mona presents herself as Lisa to save her father from debt. Martin finds out the truth and is heartbroken, but later falls in love with Mona, while Lisa falls in love with Leo and they marry. It is later revealed that Martin only took up with Mona for a project. Mona breaks up with him and enters a secret mission with Leo to investigate YTC, a company for which Lisa is working after her dad makes her jobless. The owner, Sandra Tan, is framed as being involved in illegal business by her stepdaughter Primera, but the truth comes out and she is acquitted. She reveals that Lisa and Mona are in fact twins whom she had to separate in order to save their lives. Lisa struggles with the truth, but Mona is glad because her parents loved her like their own although she wasn't.—lymurbee
