It is the second film of the Samurai Trilogy, wchich follows the adventures of Miyamoto Musashi as he wanders through Japan learning the ways of a samurai. The first part of the trilogy is Samurai I: Musashi Miyamoto and the third is Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island.
