The Royal Scandal, the war for power, and fight for money continues with the return of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. (Saheb) Aditya Pratap Singh (Jimmy Shergill) is crippled and is trying to recover from the physical disability and his wife's betrayal.Aditya tells Rani Maa (his stepmother) that Madhavi Devi, his wife, is not suitable to give an heir to the family. She is only his "official" wife now. Rani Maa asks Aditya to get married again, and shows him the photo of Ranjana, daughter of a rich industrialist.
Rudra Pratap / Rudy (Sujay Shankarwar) is a local MLA and a friend of Aditya. Businessman Makhija wanted Rudy to pass a bridge tender and sent his wife to Rudy for the night. But Makhija made a video and is now blackmailing Rudy. Aditya gets Makhija murdered to ensure that Rudy is protected.
The lover cum seductress (Biwi) Madhavi Devi (Mahie Gill) is now an MLA, her relationship with Aditya may have broken to shambles but her relationship with alcohol is deep, dark and daunting. Although Madhavi is an MLA, but she rarely ever visits office & has been starved of funds by Aditya. Aditya calls Madhavi cheap and disgraceful.
(Gangster) Indrajeet Singh (Irrfan Khan), a ragged prince who has lost everything but his pride, pledges to get back his family's respect which was once destroyed by Aditya's ancestors. Ranjana (Soha Ali Khan) is a modern ambitious girl who is madly in love with Indrajeet Singh and is physically intimate with him.Indrajeet's cousin brother Param (Pravesh Rana) has found a job with the state police, while Indrajeet is himself engaged in local politics. He lives with his father Jagat Pratap in a large Haveli, but the Haveli is in a dilapidated condition.Indrajeet keeps up appearances by bribing the local journalist to publish his photo in the newspapers when he is invited to the dais of local political rallies.
The story takes a new turn when Aditya falls in love with Ranjana. Rani Maa sends a marriage proposal to her father Birendra, but he does not respond. So, Aditya arrives at Birendra's palace responding to his invitation for a Polo match.Aditya forces Birendra (Raj Babbar) for their marriage by getting Birendra's son Vishi arrested in Dubai for drug possession. Birendra agrees to the wedding, but summons Indrajeet to assassinate Aditya, as he is aware of Indrajeet's family feud with Aditya. Indrajeet agrees to killing Aditya, but on the condition that Ranjana will be wedded to him after Aditya is eliminated. Birendra is not happy but relents when Ranajan agrees.
Aditya soon arranges an engagement party, without informing Madhavi. Aditya then asks Birendra to leave Ranjana in his Haveli. Aditya tells Birendra that he wants Ranjana to be defamed so she cannot marry anybody else at all. Aditya promises to marry Ranjana only when he gets up from the wheelchair.When Ranjana enters the house, Madhavi decides to visit her office only to find that Aditya controls everything there. Also, Aditya controls all of Madhavi's MLA funds. He would only release the funds to Madhavi when she cooperates and signs the files he sends her.
Indrajeet meets Madhavi when she was touring her constituency.Indrajeet gets close to Madhavi by offering her money (Indrajeet is funded by Birendra). He poses as a rich businessman to her. Aditya is also creating problems for the CM of UP by opposing the division of the state into 4 parts. Aditya tells MLA Prabhu Tiwari (Rajiv Gupta) (who supports the division) that he has the support of enough MLAs to stall the legislation on the floor of the house.
So, Indrajeet meets the Prabhu Tiwari & arranges for Madhavi to join the CM's party (Madhavi was an independent MLA) by getting her a small post within the party. Due to Madhavi's defection, the MLAs supporting Aditya also switch to Prabhu.Madhavi returns the favor by sexually serving a government Babu to get Indrajeet the tender to a highly lucrative bridge contract which Aditya wanted for his own contractor.
Meanwhile Param busts the gang who rob passing tourists on behalf on Aditya, thereby cutting off his important source of income. The gang testifies that they work at the behest of Kanhaiya, Aditya's head of security.
Madhavi & Indrajeet start a sexual relationship & Indrajeet reveals his true mission to Madhavi, to eliminate Aditya. Madhavi agrees to destroy Aditya financially but says that no harm should come to him physically. Madhavi kills Aditya's head of security & his right-hand man Kanhaiya by dropping a loose ledge on him from the 2nd floor of her house.
Ranjana calls Indrajeet to meet her in Aditya's Haveli. When he gets there, Madhavi finds him & has sex with him. Ranjana sees Indrajeet having sex with Madhavi. Ranjana is angry & decides to side with Aditya & reveals Indrajeet's true identity & mission to him. She the devotes herself to the physical rehabilitation of Aditya & succeeds in making Aditya stand & walk on his 2 feet.
Madhavi is angry at the newfound closeness between Aditya and Ranjana. She supports the CM in his bid to divide the state (going against Aditya & humiliating him). Aditya responds by kidnapping the MLAs who support the division of the state.
Madhavi asks Indrajeet to kill Ranjana. Indrajeet meets Ranjana & asks her to steal Aditya's gun so that he can kill Madhavi & implicate Aditya. Ranjana obviously does nothing & marries Aditya instead.Indrajeet is distraught at their wedding & Ranjana's betrayal. He asks Madhavi to steal Aditya's gun & commits suicide with it. Aditya is arrested by Param for Indrajeet's murder.
