The story where East meets West. Lajwanti, a village girl from Punjab and Leeza, a foreigner get married in the Singh family after a turmoil of emotions, sacrifices and drama.

Ranbir Singh in order to keep his words given to his friend announces that he will get his foreign returned son Abhay married to Lajwanti, his friend"s daughter. But to his dismay Abhay returns back from abroad with his girl friend Leeza. Now to keep uncle Ranbir"s words and to get the whole family together Uday (Ranbir"s nephew) marries Lajwanti against his mother Rekha"s wish. Now both the girls from different cultures and backgrounds come together under one roof trying to make their place in the family.
