After her sister's suicide, on the eve of the memorial, Belle Dawson steals her sister's cremated ashes and takes to the road to have her own private memorial with her.
Belle Dawson has spent her whole life taking care of her bipolar sister Breanna who one day commits suicide. Estranged from her family for their dismissive behavior towards Breanna and her condition, Belle steals her sisters cremated ashes on the eve of her memorial and takes to the road to dispense them at a place that had particular meaning for them. Along the way she meets several people, some more lost than she is as she tries to face reality and say goodbye, but also as she faces the reality of forging a life of her own afterward.—Stephen Poole
