This is the passionate story between Rosangelica and Oscar Eduardo. Their relationship is hindered by a past that affects them both. 20 years ago, Rodolfo raped his secretary Gisele; her husband Alberto murdered Rodolfo in a jealous fit, but she took the blame for the murder to save her beloved husband. Distressed by these events, she became mentally ill and is confined to an institution. As a result of the rape, she gave birth to Rosangelica. In time, Rosangelica turns into a beautiful, noble, vivacious young woman and a talented artist. Her life changes when she meets Oscar Eduardo, a doctor, but when he discovers her past, he abandons her and their newborn love child. She, like her mother, is confined to an asylum for mentally-disturbed persons.
