Three reporters take a trip around the North Sea, a round trip of around 5,000 km. They begin in Bruges, then start their journey at the Zwin before moving along the Belgian and French coasts towards Dunkirk. Here they cross the channel towards the UK by boat, then start their trip around the English and Scottish coasts. The crossing to Norway is made by boat from the Shetland Islands. They then move back through Denkmark, Germany, and the Netherlands to Antwerp. Arnout Hauben, Philippe Niclaes and Ruben Callens covered large parts of the route on foot, in addition to transport by boat, train, car, plane and parts by bicycle. Along the way they interview residents near the coastline or other casual people they meet as they pass by.—DragonSusie
