Rock and Roll the Movie follows fresh out of college guy David who moves to LA only to wind up in a bet with his teenage rock star agent idol, William Smythe over his cherished '59 T-Bird. Rock and Roll the Movie... www.rockandrollthemovie.com...An off the wall, T&A comedy - SynopsisDavid Roso, fresh out of college and dreaming of becoming a big music agent, is packing up his prized 59 T-Bird (built for him by his deceased father), leaving Illinois and heading to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. And as luck would have it, his first day in town, he runs into his idol and agent to the stars, William Smythe, who sensing opportunity, offers David an immediate job with his powerful music agency. Theres just one catch. To prove himself, David, on a bet, must agree to get an artist signed to a recording deal within four months. Thinking Smythe is referring to the hot, young starlet want-to-be on his arm, David accepts the wager, in which he could lose his prized car, and is tricked into representing a drunken, beer bellied, hair-grayed, has-been, never-was loser named Steve Taylor. Through Taylors haze of alcohol, self pity, and absolute non-interest, David must get him ready to present to the recording companies. So Taylor (who proves to be unbelievably talented), finally accepting the challenge after a series of refusals, decides to give it a shot for the sake of his young son. David, and Taylors lifetime roadies, Bill and Ted attempt to clean him up, get him in shape and get his music chops back to where they used to be. Taylor, who now supports himself by servicing porn stars with his natural talents (hes unusually well endowed) under the banner that Porn Stars Need Love Too Man, finds the challenge almost unachievable, but gives it the old college try. Through a series of defeats, caused by the antagonist William Smythe, the plan to make Taylor a success is averted many times over. David, finding one more platform (a record company sanctioned Battle of the Bands with a recording deal as the main prize) decides to go for it one last time. Taylor again gets drunk but gives it his best shot. The Battle of the Bands rages on and its then up to the judges. Can Steve Taylor rock again in 2010?
