Bobby Rush took the time to welcome my sister and I into his life so we could make a film of his remarkable career and talent. We loved everything about Bobby Rush, his music, his words and his kindness allowing us an inside track. Thank you Bobby Rush . We love you! Most of the time we view artists from a distance and we are satisfied with just knowing them that way. But in this case Bobby Rush allowed us those special moments that we will remember forever!!! Bobby Rush in person is unexplainable!!! It's wild with the joy of seeing him bite into a piece of Chocolate and the excitement of seeing him go on stage. When he starts dancing your heart sinks and you jump up with the feeling that you have forgotten yourself and nothing matters but swinging to the words of his songs. Bobby Rush is a songwriter- musician with the words of humanity on his side. I love every word and everything that happens on stage. He is a performer you should not miss. Bobby Rush had his own records, recording studio. Film production company and yet he allowed us to film him. It is remarkable how he took the time to invite us into his backstage quite moments where he relaxes before he has to perform. Then he goes out to the public and meeting his fans and signs his CD's for the crowd Bobby Rush allowed us to film it all and he kept on being gracious. It is an experience I will never forget. Bobby Rush meet with his fans in the Hotel and listened to them a day before his performance. He was happy to greet those who came to see him and be a part of their Concert Experience. At Dinner , in the Lobby or on the Street - Bobby Rush was accessible to everyone who wanted to say something or stop him along the way. He personally cared for all his crew and made sure they were taken care of. Bobby Rush pays special attention to everyone and he takes great delight in making sure everyone is happy. He is always available to his fans, staff and the media. I hope to film him again sometime because it was the most exciting experience of my filmmaking career. After 25 years as a filmmaker - Bobby Rush was my favorite film to create. Bobby Rush is as fun in person as he is on stage- his every moment is a worthwhile experience and I'd glad we spent the time with Bobby Rush and I can't wait for the next Adventure with Bobby Rush.
