A group of Heroic pilots from around the world and time called the Ring Raiders try to stop the sisister actions of Pirate Pilots, with the help of their Power Rings.

The series is set in the near future of 1998, but regularly features time travel. The renegade fighter pilot Stanley "Scorch" Smith has established the Skull Squadron, a paramilitary organization trying to achieve world domination through brutal use of aerial warfare and by developing aircraft capable of time travel. To defend themselves, the nations of the world have formed an alliance and established their own time travel operatives, the Ring Raiders. With several of the team's pilots recruited from other historical eras, such as World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the 23rd century.—Dimos I
