Satyasindhu and Hriday are best friends. Satyasindhu's son Ujjal and Hriday's daughter Ishani loves each other. But on their wedding day Ujjal marries Anjali and leaves Ishani. Ishani marries Ujjal's best friend Abhiman and they have a daughter Aisharya. Ujjal also has a son Anirban. Ujjal, shameful for his act decides to leave his parents and his house never to return. But when Anirban is all grown up he decides to take matters into his own hands and decides to reunite his family again.

"'Rinsodh' is the story of how a father repays the debt of his son. Biswanath is a selfish father who makes his elder son Bijoy toil hard to fulfill his selfish demands without caring for his health. He thinks it's his son's duty to take care of him. Hard work takes a toll on his death and Bijoy dies accidentally. The death of his son makes Biswanath realize his selfishness. He tries to make amends for his wrongs. He starts working hard to earn money for the treatment of Bijoy's son's who has a serious heart ailment. His younger son Ravi is happy to see the transformation in his father and helps him get back his job. Biswanath decides to run a race which has prize money of 10000 rupees for the winner. He wins the race but gets a heart attack. But the well wishes of his family and recovery of his grandson restores him back to health."
