Set in Northern Nepal, during the climax of the civil war that consumed thousands of lives and caused an unprecedented loss and damage to property, this fiction is the story of a father and son, an officer of state intelligence agency and a philosophical idealistic rebel. This is a story of people during tough times, of families during conflict and of idealism morphing into wicked tactical practices to win the war. This is primarily a story of families broken by labor migration and modern day work ethics. The film explores different facades of an individual, in constant fight with oneself, confused by his many sides and ideologies, who makes the hard choice of joining the rebels in the name of equality and justice and in so doing takes up the role of sending very young children to the so called ' people's war'. The story explores many faces of the character, who, like the revolution that he is a part of is, already in a downward spiral and is going down in many ways towards complete devastation and annihilation.—Nirjal Poudyal
