Rico, a former New York hustler, is released on parole after 10 years. Staying at a halfway house, he reconnects with old criminal contacts. Detective Falcone monitors Rico as he gets drawn back into the dangerous world of the cartels.

This is a drama TV series about Ricardo "Rico" Suarez, a ruthless New York hustler who was sentenced to 17 years in prison and has been released early on Parole after 10 years of good behavior in Rikers Island. Now that he is a free man, he has some catching up to do. With having to spend the next few months in a halfway house, he meets with some old friends and have met some new ones, that later become connections back into the same streets that he new best. But with Detective Falcone still on his tail, it's only a matter of time that they both get caught up in the mix again. Not everyone will survive the Cartel this time.
