After a chance encounter with Hollywood legends Francis Ford Coppola, George Lucas, Robert Duvall, James Caan and Shirley Knight; Rex left his childhood home in the Great Plains of Nebraska and moved to California where he found his calling under Glenn Randall, Sr., horse trainer from Ben-Hur.
