Summaries

Revelator tells the story of a thirteen year old boy in a small, southern town who is impoverished, oppressed, and is a parallel to savior figures in various religious texts. He forms a friendship with a girl his age that gives him hope for a clearer future. Surrounding their story, six other stories take place, with themes of religion, familial trust and restrained love, drug addiction, longing for escape, bullying, physical and mental abuse of power, and the dangers of conspiracy theorists and their ability to incite fear amongst their followers.
