At the age of 30, Galina is looking for love, but meets a good soldier only for war.

Not long after the break up of the USSR, in poverty stricken Moldova 30 year old Galina is single, living with her aunt. Life is hard. She falls into a relationship with an Afghan war veteran, not working, physically intact but classed as disabled. As the country splits in two, personal and civil strife entwine, true characters are revealed, and difficult decisions are all that's left. This film is far from Western in its production, but it tells an important story, important now in 2022 more than ever. Not entertainment in the normal sense, but well worth watching.
