In a post-apocalyptic, possibly near future wilderness revolutionary leader Jim Burton and his girlfriend Star are pursued by a ruthless mercenary and the soldiers of the oppressive regime they fled.

Revolutionary resistance leader Jim Burton and his girlfriend Star have escaped "The Bosses"' last underground city and fled into the wastelands of what used to be England. But the bosses dispatch ruthless mercenary Keif MacReady to hunt them down. With MacReady and a squad of soldiers closing in, Jim and Star meet numerous strange characters in the wilderness as they try to make it to a legendary peaceful settlement by the sea. But when they are split up it soon becomes clear that Jim is nothing without Star, the true leader of the revolution.—Anonymous
