Synopsis

Akram lives with his father Arsalan, his mother Azam, his brother Ismail, and his little sister Elham in an old house in a poor neighborhood at the bottom of the city. They don't have a good financial situation, because they get all their capital from the job of the father of the family, and he is a maker of wooden dolls, and he doesn't even allow other family members to work.

In any case, they live a peaceful life until one day the father of the family, Arslan, who was fixing the TV antenna, suddenly falls from the roof of the house and dies in front of all the family members. Some time later, while this family is in a bad financial situation and they don't even have money to buy their necessities, their landlord, who has not received rent from them for four months, comes to them. He says that when Arslan was alive, he borrowed 8 million tomans from him and now he wants his money. Unless Arslan's family evacuate their house as soon as possible and leave there. Otherwise, he wants his money in full. Azam finds a job where his employer gives him a place to sleep for himself and two of his children. Azam also insists that Akram go to Arak, where his aunt lives, and marry his aunt's son, so that his life can be settled.

But Akram opposes this request and decides to get the rent money by selling his father's dolls and they don't leave that house. But one of the dolls he sells contains drugs that Arslan hid in the past. He spends 3 whole nights in detention and is released when it is proven that he is not a drug user. But when he returns home, he realizes that Azam has left Elham and Ismail and left the house. Elham and Ismail have been handed over to the welfare center.

Now she asks her uncle to go to welfare and take care of the children. Meanwhile, Azam is found; But when Akram goes to her, she goes crazy and ends up in a nursing home. That's why he loves her; And in the end, he makes the wooden dolls into brides and by selling them, he earns money to continue his life.
