Red flag Rising is the story of Leonard Bienvenu, an intelligence officer in China at the end of World War II. He went on to work for the Department of Justice under Robert Kennedy and latter to become Director of Security for the National Security Agency (NSA). It has been said that he was in line to be Attorney General. Due to the secret nature of his work, he never received the recognition that one would expect for a man of his stature. The primary objective of this film is to honor him and tell his story, as he was a man of integrity and honor.
