Zoheir, a young sailor working on a cargo ship heading to South Africa, finds out that his pregnant wife is missing during the war in Lebanon. He travels back to his homeland using different ships and boats. However, after the bombings, in order to save the newly born babies, his wife and a nurse have taken them out of the region in an ambulance.
