Razmataz is a story about the meeting between old Europe and young black music, and the meeting takes place in the city that produces the most resonance to that event : Paris, Europe, on the cusp of cultural change, is respresented in the story by a series of symbolic characters : the rich bourgeoisie, the expressionist artist from Berlin, the italian man-of the world, the parisian Haute-couturier, the sporty englishman, the lady detective-story writer.. The work in its finished form involves a mixture of different techniques: narrative voice, dialogues and monologues, sound effects, drawings and soundtrack with original music and songs (including 8 brand new paolo conte tracks never released before).—Anonymous
