Artyom, a student, falls in love with Ksyusha, a beauty from a Black Sea town. He abandons everything and follows her to the south of Russia. There he realizes that he has two serious rivals for Ksyusha's love - a Navy cadet and a daredevil cop. It seems that the naive student has no chance.
