Three friends who come together to help a fourth friend elope with his lover, come together once again to teach the couple a lesson, when they part away.
Rishi Deshpande (Jackky Bhagnani) comes from a respectable family with dad Devdutta Deshpande (Sunil Sinha) and mum Devyani Deshpande (Sona Nair). Rishi has applied for Police Service, but keeps getting into trouble with the law due to his nature to protect the poor against the oppression of the rich.Rishi was engaged to Megha Joshi (Priya Anand) by their respective parents when they were kids. But Megha's dad will not allow the wedding to take place till Rishi gets a Govt job.
Rishi's friend is the poor Pakkya (Vijay Verma) who lives with his dad Carpenter (Milind Pathak) in a broken up dwelling. Pakkya has applied for his passport as he wants to escape the cycle of his poverty. His 2nd friend is Vinod (Amitosh Nagpal) who wants to open a computer institute & has applied for a bank loan for the same. Vinod loves Venu (Sakhi Gokhale) who is also Rishi's sister. Rishi knows nothing about Vinod & Venu, but Pakkya has seen them together quite a few times.
3rd friend Joy (Raghav Chanana) loves Jasmine (Akshara Gowda), but his parents want him to get married to a minister's daughter. Rishi & Co decide to help Joy by rescuing Jasmine from her house in Lalitpur & getting her married to Joy. Upin reaching Lalitpur they realize that Jasmine is the daughter of Brijbihari (Pankaj Tripathi) who is a local mafia don. Joy's mother is an ex-MP & orders a 24 hr surveillance of Jasmine's house as she knows that Joy will show up there sooner or later. So the group decides to rescue Jasmine when she visits a temple with her family. The group creates a diversion & Manages to rescue Jasmine, but Brijbihari's men severely injure Vinod & Pakkya. Rishi manages to take Joy & Jasmine to a local temple to get them married & then boards them onto a state transport bus to an unknown destination.
Rishi, Vinod & Pakkya are in the hospital when they are arrested. Pakkya has lost his hearing & Vinod loses his leg. BrijBihari puts pressure on the police to hand over the guys to him, but Joy's mother arrives at that instant & thwarts his plans. Brijbihari retaliates by attacking Rishi's house in which his grandmother dies. Megha's dad gets agitate ed at the funeral that he will not allow Megha's wedding with Rishi. This angers Devdutta & he kicks Megha & her dad out of his house.
The guys get bail, but with their careers in doldrums because of the court case, they decide to help an old man whose restaurant is going out of business. They take charge of the restaurant & turn it around. Pakkya gets a hearing aid & Vinod gets an artificial prosthesis. Their business is a success, but Megha's dad decides to marry off Megha to someone else.Evetually Rishi's parents find out about Venu & Vinod's relationship. They object as Vinod is untouchable caste. Rishi lies by saying that he knew about Venu & Vinod & convinces his parents to bless their union.
Then the guys find out that Joy & Jasmine have separated & gone back to their respective parents. Basically Joy had no money & Jasmine was not willing to compromise her living standards, this led to differences & daily fights until one day when Jasmine decides to leave Joy. The guys try to talk sense into Joy & Jasmine but are rebuffed by both. The guys are angry that they wasted their lives for nothing. They kidnap both Jasmine & Joy & Rishi gives them a stern lecture that due to their antics people will not help true lovers going forward. Pakkya wants to kill them, but Rishi stops him.2 yrs later Rishi is a police inspector.
